PicTreat claims to be a FREE photo editing service. I tried it out and found it to be fairly cheesy. Their claim of free photo editing is true but you will have to fess up with some bucks to download your work of art. That, in my opinion is a long way from free.
Is it any good?
I chose a picture with side lighting, so that every bump and pore is visible.
Well, the uploading of one 4.7 MB image took a long time. The software then quickly turned the original into a fairly good image. Here is the original:

I would say the PicTreat version is not bad. Especially in light of the fact that you have no input into the process. The software just does it's stuff and presents you with a finished picture.

I will give my image the edge by quite a bit, but for someone that needs a quick fix on an image or two then PicTreat may be just the ticket. The cost to download is about $9.00 for 10 images. They do have other, more reasonable plans.Thanks for looking and clicking!
